As a member of the board of the Swiss Tourism Federation and the advisory board of the Competence Centre for Sustainability (KONA), the Association of Swiss
Navigation Companies (VSSU) is committed to the sustainable transformation of Switzerland as a tourist destination. As a national contact and coordination point under the umbrella of the Swiss Tourism Federation, KONA actively promotes the sustainable development of Swiss tourism at a central level.
It implements various national projects in the areas of networking, empowerment and impact measurement. The aim is to bundle forces along the tourism value chain and promote the exchange of experience and knowledge among tourism stakeholders for sustainable development. As part of its activities, VSSU networks with other tourism industries and organisations, participates in knowledge transfer and acts as the official sending organisation for the sustainability programme Swisstainable.
